Description
Scream for Pleasure, adapted from the author’s musical drama of the same title, is a story of young widow Maria, who meets and falls in love with an abusive alcoholic. Yet Maria cannot bring herself to leave him, and her best friend, Angela, is powerless to help. This gripping story, although fictional, is echoed in real-life relationships every day, and the author, an advocate for the abused, hopes that readers who are real-life “Maria”s will take a lesson from the book and take steps to help themselves.
